Not really any noticable stretch, i was worried...but they bend and train easy, snapped them over at about day5 12/12...maybe that killed the stretch..:chin:

They are very easy to control in terms of height...:D

Thanks man...:D...#9 was tipped by myself from early veg, was somthing about that one..(cant wait to smoke test them all...hehe...:yummy:):D

Aroma's so far are slightly skunky across the board, with a funky rotten fruit/citrus smell...should be able to giva a better observation when my nose isnt blocked with hay-fever...lol. :badday:

Update...(approx)..Day26 12/12.

Burnt a couple of tips on the light, my cut the bad bit out to smoke as there is no herbs around...maybe they will out grow the damage, i doubt this as they are supposed to be finished in less than a month.:chin:

^^The Astroboy is getting fat, definatly similar to pure A13 in smell...the structure is more like a kush type plant though...with weak, bendy stems.

Jah bless..:rasta:

Benji, good luck getting a Cheese cut into OZ...(id say they would survive the journey, judging from experiance...)...but i dont think your customs officers would let it through....:chin:...(that plant is 3D, which is A13 x a canadian commercial indica cut called 'Ortega' x C99...you can get them from breed$bay. com without the $...:D)

LLP, safe I's bredbin...respect for the bigup n ting yeah.:rasta:

Update...day 35..12/12.

Ok, gonna say it now, this is going to be a mite full grow just like last time...the girls wont look pretty in a couple of weeks when they have no chloraphyl and are covered in webs and mites all having an orgy(even a big ball of them on a line of web hanging from a leaf, all shagging like crazy...when i actualy saw this feat of nature earlier this year, i squished it after whispering 'wtf!?' to myself.) :cuss:

Thats if they dont hurry the fuck up n finish, im pretty sure the mites will have multiplied by a hell of a lot before i cut them down...:joint:

They all look real nice at present, if you negate the leaves...resin profile is good so far, one is foxtailing from either heat(between her and the fan is the bulb...:chin:) or genes, a two have rounder buds, and the other two have thinner buds....all have a few brown hairs/swollen calyx.

All smell incredibly similar, hard to describe apart from a bit apple, some pepper, a little skunk and some citrus at this point.. :joint:

Just fed them some h2o/mollases, and last wattering some guano/EWC/Molasses tea..(havent mananged to get any froth in my last few attempts, so no real goodies 'cept nutes..) :rasta:

Pics later... :joint:

Now trying my best to kill the mites without poisonous chemicals, too late to fog with pyrthrum(sp?), and too late to spray...so i came up with an idea, if i remember right nicotene affects the respiratory system of mites..so i put a metal bowl full with 50g's of old rolling tobbaco on the floor of the cab, lit it with lighter fuel, and put the little fan blowing on to it....within minutes the cab was thick with smoke, im thinking if i do this 3days running it should slow down the reproduction of the mites somewhat..:D

Ahh damn dude, sorry about the infestation. Is there some way you could filter the incoming air to prevent them getting in? If you have a ventilation duct supplying air or a similar setup, you could get a HEPA filter for a vacuum or air purifier, possibly add a small fan to help pull air through it so it doesn't tax your extractor too much, and then there shouldn't be any way that they could get in.

You could always get lady bugs, or another kind of mite predator, too. Not sure if anyone ever uses them for indoor grows around here, but I've heard that they like to eat them. If applying chemicals can't happen because you're too late into the grow, something like natural predators would certainly become a more appealing option, I would think. When they've done the job you can simply vacuum them up.
