Chronic in C13 under 400W HPS ins 2 Hydrofarms

It turns out I had two males. One just sprouted balls today. I ripped them both. Now, I have 1 female in one WaterFarm, 2 females in the other, Do you think I should thin it down to 1 each, or go with all three?

skEwb- they are naturally bushy, but will double in height by the time they are harvested. I'm not going to top or FIM them; I just wanna see what the yield will be if I leave them alone.

grow all 3..
i am sitting down now with the popcorn to watch this thread to see what your yeild is at the end..

keep posting pics please...

nice set up..

i love watching these stealth grows ...

Flowering, Week 4!

Flowering, Week 4!

Things are coming along nicely. I pruned some of the dead leaves and bent the main colas off to the sides a bit to encourage a more even canopy by tying some gardening wire around the stem, wrapping the other end around a screw and sticking it in one of the shelf-support holes already drilled into the cabinet walls.

At week 4, things are going well. The leaves of the right plant are still exhibiting yellowing and necrosis, but it isn't getting any worse. Meh...

The nutes have been changed to 2 tablespoons of Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Bloom-Soil Formula 1.5-4-5 per gallon of water and 1 tablespoon Cal Mag 2-0-0 per gallon of water.

if you wanna know whats wrong with your plant go to the infirmary cause there's a dude named stitch in there whose got all the answers you could ever want. he just asks stuff like what you PH, EC, TDS, Temps, and all that stuff. from his sick plant guide it looks like calcium deficiency but you changed to add cal-mag so then again maybe it's already solved.

That's what I think the problem is, too. I'm going full strength on the Cal-Mag for both plants. The problems with the one still persist, but aren't getting worse.

As long as it doesn't kill my plants, I'm not too concerned. Next time, I'll just use Cal-Mag from the beginning.

cal-mag and liquid karma are mandatory for next time. Looking good though. For the last two weeks of flowering, switch to using just a solution of clear-ex and you will be very pleased indeed with this fine crop.

Still growing!

Still growing!

Things are going nicely. The plants are still growing a bit. They are within 4" of the hood's glass. A few more leaves were pruned from the underside of the plants.

Things are looking good!

Well! I *finally* got a pH tester today and used it to test my nutrient solution as I was mixing it up. And guess what? The pH of my nutrients has been 4 this whole time! I added some pH Up to get the pH to 6. I'm interested to see how the plants react to the pH-adjusted solution.

That Chronic strain must be one hell of a strong strain. Except for the one plant's slight yellowing, they have been just fine.

Changed out the water yesterday, now just using straight tap water and Clearex. I'm going to harvest a couple of test buds next week. The following week is CHOP TIME!

In the meantime, here are some pics of seeds I made from my last grow. Got 2000 seeds of Chronic. Perhaps it is time to start guerilla grow in the country. Hmmm...

Let the harvest begin! One plant been chopped, trimmed and hung. The other will go tomorrow. Pictures to come once the second is hung as well.

can't wait for them pics and a smoke report

Well,

I trimmed away the infected areas. Probably lost 10-15% of the harvest. That sucks, because the rot was on the densest and biggest colas. Then again, that is when bud rot is most common. *waaaahhhh!!*

I got cocky and didn't use any fans for circulating air. Won't do that again.

:spank:

I cut out the affected areas and a bit more. Now have 2 fans for circulating air and the 265 CFM blower to change air in the C13 while drying. Temps are 60-75 F during the day, fans running 24/7. No light, obviously.

Very nice!!

I've been using aquafarms and always been satisfied with the results.

Think it really was a cal def you got there cause of the low ph.

Seems to me the groth rate is such that you always need a little calcium.

I usually foliar feed them using calgreen (metrop nutes) during veg grow ,seems to work cause before i did ,i aways had cal def even though i was following feeding charts.

Krusty, What kind of meter did you end up with? How does she smoke. I'm curious about the Clearex.

I bought some pH-testing drops that you mix with the water to be tested. You measure the pH based on the colour of the water with the drops added.

I'll know in a few days how it smokes. I really don't smoke that much, anymore and am in no hurry to get high (I grow primarily as an act of civil disobedience to this evil War on (some) Drugs). Although, the weekend IS coming up...

Once I smoke up, I'll let you know how the Clearex did and give a smoke report.
