Would you recommend FloraNova with Aeroponics?

I have an aero system that works. I'm using House and Garden nutes and Sugar daddy as my additive. I want to change over to FloraNova however. Is it possible or will my misters get clogged?

I have a mesh filter bag for the water pump. My misters are the red 360 Ez-Clone.

Will I have problems with FloraNova?

Thanks

Just use a water pump filter bag to avoid clogged sprayers. Regardless, FN won't clog misters on it's own unless you get a big buildup of salts and thats unlikely.

Right on. Thanks for the information. I was hoping you'd chime in. So what do you recommend as far as the FloraNova additives? I want something that will give me big buds like in your avatar, lol. :)

It really depends on the strains you are running. Many plants will enjoy an extra dose of a Cal-Mag supplement and all plants will enjoy Liquid Karma. I like Hydroguard and Hygrozyme as water treatments but there are similar treatments on the market with various names.

Truth is, nutes and supplements are secondary to having a dialed in plant environment. If you supply NPK to the plants at proper pH levels they will flourish. It matters little what name is on the bottle. Dialing in the environment that they live in is most important.

Love the nova. I run aero from Aquamist. No problems at all. As mentioned though, nutes are just one part of a puzzle.

Absolutely. I agree with both of you. I am thinking of changing from my current House and Garden setup to the following:

FloraNova Grow and Bloom
Floralicious Plus
Liquid Kool Bloom
Rare Earth
Full Mag
Sugar Daddy
Clearex
Hygrozyme

Anything I'm missing?

Use the liquid Koolblooom from week 3 to week 5 of flower then switch to powder Koolbloom for 6 thru 8. Clearex is just a flush agent so you wouldnt run that in your res as a supplement, only for occasional flushing in plain water or end of life flushing. Id definitely add some Hydroguard too. Id also suggest subtracting Rare Earth and replace it with Liquid Karma instead.
EDIT: Actually Floralicious Plus and Liquid Karma are very similar so you could probably not bother with LK either. The goal is to get your nute collection as small as possible.

Note on the flora nova; that shit is strong. I used the reccomended lowest dosage on my soil grow and it over nuted them! I have had to flush for 5 days for them to recover. I will start back up with 1/4 the lowest reccomended dosage and work my way back up.

You're right on the Clearex, just once at the end basically. I have added hydroguard to my list. I am going to stick with Rare Earth as I've heard really good things about it. I am sticking with Florilicious Plus as well so things should be fine. FulMag will be my humic/fulvic acid supplement.
:joint: Thanks for the advice, much appreciated.
