Nirvana strains

I'm with wedge- I got Papaya and 10 out of 10 popped, and 9 out of 10 were female! Great plant, easy to grow, disease and heat resistant and it knocked you right on your ass. Many of my buddy claimed it was the tastiest herb theyve ever tasted. For 25 bucks I'd give it my seal of approval

i also have been thinking about getting some nirvana genetics cuz i'm on a low budget. does the top44 really flower in 44 days?? that seems kind of short, just over 6 weeks. might grab a pack of white rhino. i was pretty pleased with the rhino i grew last summer, although it came from the slow BCBD. right now i'm leaning towards Ice, Papaya, WR, or AK48. an SB will send to USA right?

I grew out lots of different Nirvana strains in the 90's....I'm still growing out some of the crosses I made...their White Widow was strong and their Jock Horror (their Jack Herer) was 9 out of 10 excellent......as mentioned in an above post, the WW high is strong, but brain deadening....I thought the JH high was top class....uplifting, strong, stimulating etc...the type of high that makes most other strains out there seem boring like valium
I grew 2 or 3 of Nirvana haze strains in the 90's ...at the same time I grew haze strains from Soma, Nev Haze and other haze hybrids (Blue Haze etc) all outdoors in the ground in the sub tropics...the Nirvana hazes were ok, but not stand out...the Nev Haze I grew stood head and shoulders above the others in vigorous growth, size and potency, ......but for taste, the Blue Haze was best
I seeded all my females back in that day ...just a small branch or so on each plant ...and I'm growing the last few NH x NH I made back then right now.
it's time for me to purchase some more strains.....I will be buying Nirvana's JH for sure...maybe their Rhino and Papaya too.
everyone should seed their females ....and you will always have a surplusof seeds to play with
you can safely grow males and females together and have controlled pollenation..it's all a matter of timing.....here's one way of many...males mature faster than females, so when the males are about a week before pollen drop cut them back to one or two branches and or bend & tie the plants down horizontal to the ground, remove the about to open pollen sacks, then in about two weeks remove the remaining branches and collect the pollen and brush or dab a small lower branch with the pollen....a tiny sprinkle of pollen on a popcorn bud will produce 50 ~ 100 seeds...if the plant matures before the seeds do, simply harvest the plant when ready, leaving the seeded branch on the stump so the seeds can fully mature

I've grown Northern Lights, White Rhino and Jock Horror. All were vigorous, easy to grow and strong.
NL was the best, some nice variations in the highs, good yield and one beautiful purple pheno with a nice buzzy indica high. It was a keeper but I didn't know how to do clones at the time.
White Rhino was a strong mostly indica strain but kind of boring.
Jock Horror - just grew one which was pretty good, kind of sativa/indica mix.
Their seeds are always worth a punt. The only one I had trouble with was PPP - the seeds wouldn't germinate but I didn't try terribly hard. Their are some interesting techniques out there for germinating old seeds

Hey all, I've had some keepers with nirvana. In the past I've grown out skunk1, bubblegum and misty. Liked them all, misty were mostly males. Recently I grew AK48, PPP and MxA. PPP is an awesome cross. Very potent and awesome yield. Ak48 after a nice cure is amazing. At first I wasn't very happy with it. MxA is not bad, the indica dom is much better than the sativa. Yield is not bad for indica dom, but buds are very airy for sativa. I made cross's of all these. A few people are growing out these cross's on IC, I'll be running them myself shortly. One cross is very promising, it's M39 x PPP aka Mumbles. The first test grow finished up very promising, now it just needs to be stabilized. Nirvana beans are great for price, and make great genetics for crossing projects.

Id recomend the Papaya, very unique with great bag appeal and a nice relaxing buzz.

Hey folks. I bought some WW from amsterdam marijuana seeds online. I later found out that they resell nirvana genetics at an inflated rate. Anyways, if that's the case I got a couple of photo's for y'all. These two were taken yesterday on my phone.

This is some of the sweetest ganja I have seen at this stage. There is so much sugary resin on these buds. Can't wait to finish them off, give them a goos cure and smoke dat shi t up!!! yeah

Nirvanas widow is pretty damn frosty used to be one of my favourite strains when i grew out seeds from about six years ago got another pack similar looking plants but didnt have the same pungency i had experienced before. nice smoke still. Two diff phenos.
